Effective date: May 14, 2026. By using pavingcalc.net you agree to these terms. They cover how you can use the asphalt calculator, what we promise (and don't), and your obligations.

1. Acceptance

Accessing or using pavingcalc.net constitutes acceptance of these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What the site provides

pavingcalc.net offers free asphalt calculation tools, estimation methodology, and educational content for residential, commercial and DOT paving projects. All output is preliminary and informational only.

3. No professional advice

The calculators and content on pavingcalc.net are not engineering advice, contractor pricing, or a legally binding quote. They are estimation aids to help you scope a project before consulting a licensed paving contractor or structural engineer. Final material orders and bid quantities must be confirmed with your supplier and project engineer. See the full disclaimer.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the site for any lawful purpose, including:

Personal homeowner project planning
Contractor preliminary takeoff and bid preparation
Educational use by trade schools and apprenticeship programs

You may not:

Scrape, mirror or republish substantial site content without written permission
Attempt to disrupt the site, AdSense, or our hosting infrastructure
Use automated tools to overwhelm the calculator with rapid-fire requests
Embed the calculator in another site without attribution and a backlink

5. Intellectual property

All text, calculators, diagrams and methodology content are © 2026 pavingcalc.net unless otherwise noted. You may quote up to 200 words with attribution and a link back. Bulk redistribution requires permission. The Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces are used under their respective Open Font License terms.

6. Third-party content

The site uses Google AdSense and Google Analytics. Ad content is provided by Google's network and is not endorsed by pavingcalc.net. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or destination pages.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, pavingcalc.net, its operators and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its output, including but not limited to material over- or under-orders, contractor disputes, or project cost overruns.

Estimation results may differ from actual delivery weight by up to 10% depending on field density, sub-base conditions, and paving practices. Always confirm with your supplier before placing orders.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify pavingcalc.net against claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.

9. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page for 30 days. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in the United States.
